Lost Oasis is a luxury vacation home that combines modernist architecture (1951), elegant design, and modern comfort for easy living in the Palm Springs sunshine. The property owners have created a private, mini resort - right in the heart of Tahquitz River Estates - the ideal walking neighborhood with close access to river wash walking paths. The location is perfect for travelers who want to be close to town - but a little removed from the hustle and bustle.

THE INTERIOR LIVING SPACES

You'll love this stylish, bright, and spacious home. The open layout offers plenty of space for your entire group to spread out and relax. The swank conversation lounge is open to the modern well-stocked kitchen, interior dining space, and the media viewing area with large flat-screen television.

Walls of glass all along the back of the house blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living in true Palm Springs style. Comfortable vintage mid-century furnishings are mixed with contemporary sustainable pieces giving the home its sophisticated modernist style. Selections from the owners’ art collection complete the relaxed and elegant design.

THE SLEEPING QUARTERS

Each of the two executive bedrooms has the look and feel of an upscale boutique hotel. Both suites are light and spacious with views to the pool, with one King and one Queen bed, and offer ample storage and an extra daybed - perfect for families with children or curling up with a good book. There is also a third sleeping space with a privacy door and twin-sized bed. Both bathrooms have been remodeled with dual sinks, oversized showers, and modernist design creating a spa-like feeling.

THE OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES

While the interiors of this home are gorgeous - it is the outdoor spaces that are truly the crowning glory. The entire pool yard is completely walled and gated for privacy. A ficus hedge surround, lush and mature desert plantings and poolside grass create an exotic, sun-kissed botanical oasis.

Towering palm trees dot the property and the mountain views are simply stunning. The large and luxurious saltwater pool has a shallow tanning shelf, gentle incline, and extra-large spa with a waterfall into sparkling deep blue waters. Chaise lounges, the fire pit area, and the covered outdoor dining and living pavilions add to the estate feel of the property. This is truly an oasis where you can get lost in the beautiful surroundings.

Pool Heating is included in the rental cost, for bookings that are less than 29 nights, from October 15th through April 30th. From May 1st through October 14th, pool heating can be purchased for an additional $50/day.

THE LOCATION

Driving is completely optional while staying at the Lost Oasis - conveniently located in the always requested Tahquitz River Estates neighborhood. The home sits across from the green space of the Tahquitz river wash which offers walking paths and wildlife sitting. You'll be less than a half-mile from the world-famous Palm Canyon Drive as it cuts between bustling downtown and the hip and trendy South Palm Springs Business District. Palm Springs also has a very reliable Uber network.
